• Responsible for and ownership of the costs for the teams reporting to the post and meeting business targets.
• Prioritise and plan the allocation and delivery of resources in liaison with the wider team and requirements.
• Primary point of contact for the project teams with regards to resources for the project.
• In conjunction with the commercial team monitor the project costs and forecasts.
• With the assistance of the commercial team, ensure resource requirements and costs are attributed correctly.
• Ensures training and competence fully understood for resources in advance of joining the project and those on the project.
• Primary point of contact for promoting and recruiting (in association with engineering and HR) to ensure full resource capability across the project.
• To liaise with the training department and HR to ensure all training requirements are met.
• Responsible for allocating the use of sub-contractors and employees from other areas as required.
• Brief and implement new systems and processes to the programme team.
• Carry out investigations, disciplinaries, safety checks and general line management duties
• Ensure that a planned programme of technical and safety workplace assessments are carried out for all employees on the program to the relevant legislation and safety standards
• Lead team, technical briefs and safety meetings
• Supports and delivers strategies for continuous improvement.
• Ensure procedures are established to ensure necessary consultations take place with and approvals are obtained from all authorities.
• Lead the onboarding and offboarding of resources for the project.
• Monitor the wellbeing of the team.
• Manage the project design resources allocations with the discipline leads in line with the design stage and to identify the need of additional resource and/or disciplines.
• Leading the reporting of progress of the resource forecast and requirements as agreed with the management team.
• Ensure that team members visiting the site complete RAMs and follow site access procedures.
• Undertake regular lesson learned for continuous improvement and knowledge share updates with the wider group

• Membership of the Association for Project Management or other professional body
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt
• A degree or equivalent
