Welcome to PeakDistrictJobs.com! 

Right off the bat, we should be honest about something.

We are not affiliated with the Peak District National Park or any local authority in any way.

In fact, we are a completely independent third-party organisation, built from the ground up, aiming to help people find jobs in the beautiful Peak District.

Our Founder (whom you can find on LinkedIn here) lived in Macclesfield as a young teen and has since made his home in just outside Buxton in the High Peak. 

He spends most of the week driving across High Peak & the Derbyshire Dales as a private tutor, teaching maths, physics and chemistry to 14-18 year olds. (If interested, check him out here too!)

He also spends a lot of his time hiking, running and walking his dogs in the Peaks with his beautiful fiancee, Issy, and has also spent a lot of time extolling the virtues of the Peak District to anybody who would listen. 

As part of his campaign to encourage more people to give up city life and boost the local economy of the Peak District, he decided to turn his web development skills to good use in creating PeakDistrictJobs.com. 

By signing up, you ensure that you will receive an email every week with some of the latest job opportunities in the area. 

We trawl the web for every job opportunity in the High Peak & Derbyshire Dales, and we also offer employers the chance to post jobs directly to our board. We are totally free at the point of use, and we don't expect anything back for our efforts.

We do, however, appreciate everybody who supports us, as this website is unfortunately not free to run.

A portion of our proceeds will go towards supporting the Peak District Foundation to encourage conservation of & access to the Peak District.
