Slimming World has been a key weight management partner to the Government for over 10 years, first with One You, the Government’s biggest ever weight management drive, and more recently with Better Health, the campaign where we’ve supported millions of people to keep their health on track during lockdown.

We work closely with the NHS too – Slimming World is already prescribed by GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals and we are also proud to support patients through the NHS Digital Weight Management Programme.

About the role…

We’ve an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join our Partnerships team based at our Head Office in Alfreton, working full-time, Monday to Friday.

You’ll lead the implementation and coordination of public health and weight management programmes. You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Leading the end-to-end implementation of new schemes and the coordinating of scheme delivery across internal teams and field staff, ensuring transparency and accountability, smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage accurate and timely reporting (using tools like Power BI and internal systems) and data analysis to monitor performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the development of success stories and outcome presentations for commissioners and partners.
  • Act as a technology lead for system upgrades and new implementations to streamline operations.
  • ​Line manage and develop a team of Account Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

About you…


We’d love to hear from you if you are passionate about delivering an outstanding service and you’ll also have:

  • Experience in operational management within public health, weight management, or similar sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills and a confident communicator, with experience managing external partnerships and commissioner relationships.
  • ​Skilled in data analysis and performance reporting, with experience using tools like Power BI.
  • Comfortable leading technology integration and process improvement initiatives.

You might also have:

  • Experience with Tier 2 / Tier 3 weight management pathways.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Understanding of health inequalities and targeted interventions for key cohorts.
