Aka Recruitment are thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership, with our client in Clay Cross, to bring you this IT Support engineer position. Working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) you will be involved in ensuring smooth operations from an IT perspective. Salary basic starts at £25,400k, this role is open to someone that wants to get into the IT side as a trainee
Job Duties include:
- Answering phone calls and logging tickets in our CRM
- To assist with technical projects in conjunction with the wider team.
- Visit Branches / Customers' sites where required to provide on-site technical support.
- Provide remote support to internal customers as required.
- Continue your training and development within the company.
- This is not an exhaustive list and you may be required to perform duties as assigned, within your scope of practice
Requirements:
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Effective communicator
- Able to achieve targets defined within the Service Desk KPIs
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Work well with little supervision both individually and in a team environment
- Proficiency of Networking and Routing - Meraki Equipment
- Experience with supporting Office 365
- Knowledge of data cabling Ethernet/Fibre
- Experience of on-site or cloud-based telephony system
