A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Care to join a well-established children’s service that has been supporting communities for over 20 years. This organisation has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and is now looking for a senior leader to oversee operations across a portfolio of children’s homes in the East Midlands.
This is a key leadership role, ideal for an experienced professional looking to step into a strategic position with a clear pathway to Director level.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational performance of multiple children’s homes across the region
- Provide leadership and support to Registered Managers and senior teams
- Ensure all services meet and exceed Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement across service quality and outcomes
- Lead on safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance processes
- Support with inspections, audits, and regulatory engagement
- Develop and implement strategic plans for service growth and development
- Promote a positive, child-centred culture across all services
Requirements
- Proven experience overseeing multiple children’s residential homes
- Previous experience as a Regional Manager or Responsible Individual
- Level 5 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care
- Level 5 in DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead)
- Strong knowledge and experience of Ofsted inspections and frameworks
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and young people
