About ECU Testing Ltd: ECU Testing Ltd. is a market leader in the automotive control unit remanufacturing industry. We specialise in providing remanufacturing solutions for Engine Management, Transmission, Anti-Lock Braking, Electric Power Steering, Instrumentation, and Comfort Control Systems for the automotive aftermarket. As a rapidly growing company, we have recently expanded into a new 30,000 sq ft facility to accommodate our increasing demands and enhance our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • LabVIEW Software Development

Design, build, and maintain automated test software using LabVIEW for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and ECU testing platforms.

  • System Architecture & Automation

Architect scalable and modular test systems. Develop reusable software components and automation frameworks to improve reliability and efficiency.

  • Hardware & Software Integration

Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with custom test electronics. Ensure reliable communication with automotive ECUs via protocols such as CAN, LIN.

  • Debugging & Support

Troubleshoot complex software and system-level issues. Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring stability and performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience developing in LabVIEW, including UI design, modular programming, and real-time system control.
  • Understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN) and experience interfacing with control modules.
  • Ability to work with engineers across disciplines to deliver robust, integrated test systems.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with test automation, version control systems , and software best practices.
