Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (could be flex dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

We are seeking a Curriculum Lead to play a pivotal role in the development, oversight, and continual enhancement of learning programmes across apprenticeships, adult education, and skills contracts. Working cross-functionally with learning designers, operational teams, and leadership, you will ensure that the curriculum offer remains high-impact, innovative, and compliant with all relevant frameworks and inspection requirements.

You’ll bring experience in curriculum design and quality assurance, with a passion for applied learning that drives engagement, retention, and achievement. This role offers a rare opportunity to influence curriculum strategy, staff development, and learner outcomes in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a high-quality curriculum offer across key delivery areas

  • Ensure all learning products meet intended outcomes and demonstrate effective implementation and impact

  • Oversee the creation and approval of learning and marketing materials that align with inspection frameworks (e.g. EIF)

  • Facilitate curriculum development planning meetings with operational leads and subject specialists

  • Monitor learner feedback and use data to shape future provision

  • Support the development and quality assurance of Scheme of Work models (SOMs)

  • Conduct quality observations, contribute to moderation, and support CPD through bespoke training

  • Support the annual Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

  • Monitor copyright compliance and ensure lawful use of third-party materials

  • Manage online platform content and contribute to digital learning development

  • Lead collaborative work with marketing to promote learning initiatives across social media and internal communications

  • Support staff coaching qualifications and internal development through a small learner caseload where required

About You

Essential:

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and ICT

  • Level 5 Teaching qualification (or working towards)

  • At least 2 years’ management experience in a curriculum, learning, or quality role

  • Proven ability to manage curriculum development projects from design through to delivery

  • Exceptional attention to detail and understanding of compliance within educational provision

  • Experience working with learning data to drive decision-making and improvement

  • Confident in using Microsoft Office and learning management systems

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport for regional travel

Desirable:

  • A1/V1 or equivalent assessment/verification qualifications

  • Experience with construction and sustainability curriclums

  • Experience in managing web content or organisational social media platforms

  • Background in EdTech, learning design, or instructional content development

  • Experience supporting staff coaching qualifications or internal training
