Admin Assistant

St Andrews Academy is seeking a proactive, organised, and friendly Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, fast-paced school environment where every day is different.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the school office, senior leadership team, and teaching staff
• Greet visitors, manage phone calls and emails, and maintain a welcoming reception area
• Handle pupil records, attendance, and admissions data
• Assist with the organisation of school events and trips
• Process correspondence, reports, and documents with accuracy and confidentiality
• Support the day-to-day operations of the school with efficiency and professionalism
• Assist with financial processes within the school and in liaison with the wider admin team

St Andrew’s is a day/residential special school for pupils with severe learning difficulties and ASD aged 11 -19 years. Our Special settings cater for children and young people with a wide range of Special Educational Needs from children with profound medical needs and life limiting conditions, those with severe, moderate and sensory needs through to young people with social emotional and mental health needs that require support and understanding to help them to navigate their world.
