Somerce is a leading TikTok Shop agency helping brands grow through live shopping, content creation, and social commerce. We partner with some of the UK’s most exciting brands to deliver world-class TikTok Live campaigns that drive revenue and brand engagement.

We’re now looking for a Live Manager to take ownership of our live commerce operations. This is a client-facing role where you’ll plan, deliver, and optimise TikTok Live campaigns — ensuring our clients achieve measurable success on the platform.

Key Responsibilities

TikTok Product & Industry Knowledge

  • Become an expert in TikTok Live features, best practices, and emerging tools.
  • Stay on top of competitor activity and industry trends to shape internal strategies.

Client & Business Understanding

  • Understand client goals, tone of voice, and audiences to tailor live experiences that drive engagement and GMV.
  • Adapt live content strategies to align with each client’s commercial objectives.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all live commerce activity.
  • Build trust and foster strong relationships with clients and live partners.

Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute live campaign timelines including host sourcing, booking, briefing, script guidance, and coordination with other campaign touchpoints.
  • Align live activity with wider campaign plans such as paid media and affiliate marketing.
  • Execute TikTok trends and challenges in line with campaign objectives.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and analyse live performance metrics (GMV, conversions, viewership, engagement).
  • Deliver clear insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Provide regular reporting to clients and internal teams.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Paid Media, Account Managers, Content, and Somerce Studios teams to ensure aligned delivery.

Strategic Planning

  • Build and implement live strategies (daily and showcase events) focused on revenue growth and audience engagement.

Client Communication

  • Lead all live-related communication, including planning calls, post-live reviews, and partner coordination.

Business Development

  • Identify new live commerce opportunities, from pilot showcases to new formats and strategic partnerships.

Budget & Financial Management

  • Monitor live performance against targets.
  • Ensure GMV goals are achieved through effective planning and execution.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Support and mentor junior team members or freelancers working on live commerce.
  • Provide guidance to presenters and internal contributors.

Initiative

  • Take ownership of the live commerce arm of the business.
  • Proactively innovate, test new formats, and resolve challenges quickly.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience running or managing live commerce or social video campaigns (TikTok preferred).
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent project management, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and optimise accordingly.
  • A creative eye for engaging content and understanding of TikTok culture.
  • Experience mentoring or managing teams is a plus.
