Role: Team Leader Residential
Salary: £33,400 per annum Dependent on experience and qualifications.
Location: Derbyshire
Contract/Hours: Permanent/Full Time – 37 hours per week

A bit about the service:
Willow Lodge is an exciting new residential home that offers accommodation and support for children and young people aged 6 - 18 years with social, emotional, and mental health needs. We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every individual can thrive. Willow Lodge is a very diverse team with lots of different things to offer such as different cultures, experience and knowledge, we pride ourselves on supporting and caring for our young people to the best of our ability whilst also having fun and helping them to make amazing memories and positive changes.
As a Team Leader you will play a vital role in helping our young people achieve their personal goals and develop their independence. You may be asked to sleep in on occasions and you will earn an extra £50 for each one.
A bit about the role
In the role of Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children. You will supervise and support residential support workers by providing guidance and training, ensuring they understand and implement care plans effectively. You also work with other professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans that addresses the specific needs of each child. Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times is crucial, which means adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. Maintaining open effective communication with the children, their families and other professionals, involved in their care is also key. In addition to these responsibilities, you will act as a direct cover for the registered manager in their absence. Furthermore, you'll handle administrative tasks such as managing rotors, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
