Specialist Window Cleaning Technician

LOCATION: Old Trafford Centre, Manchester 

SHIFT PATTERN: 40 hours per week. 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

PAY RATE: £15.00 per hour

Role Overview 

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Specialist Window Cleaning Technician to join our professional cleaning operations at the Old Trafford Centre. This role involves high-standard commercial window cleaning, including low and mid-level glazed surfaces, ensuring a consistently excellent appearance across the site. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Carry out professional window cleaning to retail and commercial standards 

• Clean internal and external glazed areas, frames, and ledges 

• Use specialist equipment safely, including reach & wash systems and access equipment where applicable 

• Follow all site-specific risk assessments and method statements 

• Maintain high standards of appearance, conduct, and customer service 

• Report defects, access issues, or safety concerns to the Team Leader 

• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition 

• Comply fully with company and client health & safety policies 

Essential Requirements 

• Previous commercial window cleaning experience (preferred) 

• Good understanding of safe working practices 

• Physically fit and comfortable working at height where required 

• Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team 

• Right to work in the UK 

Nice to Have (Desirable) 

• iPath Health & Safety training or similar accredited H&S qualification 

• Experience working in retail centres or high-footfall environments 

• MEWP or access equipment awareness
