Permanent role - part time - 24- 32 hrs per week

The Screening & Vetting Co-ordinators role will be responsible for completing required vetting checks on candidates applying to work within Compact Security Services and associated businesses ensuring full compliance with screening and vetting processes in line with BS7858 standards.

  • co-ordinate and deliver the end-to-end vetting process, ensuring all vetting files completed within the required timelines for preliminary limited and full checks
  • Support operational managers during the process working closely with them to ensure staff onboarded within required timelines 
  • Work with recruitment manager to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensure effective communication with candidates so they have transparency on timelines and process, responding to all queries within agreed timelines.
  • Adhere to agreed processes ensuring all adhered to consistently to ensure full compliance
  • Ensure full compliance within all aspects of the recruitment /people function, including right-to-work checks and HR legislative compliance
  • Ensure all relevant HR administration completed including using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), HR software, and scheduling tools to manage employee records and recruitment data 

Experience

  • Experience of the security industry beneficial, within a screening and vetting role with a strong understanding of working with a large workforce and high volumes of candidates
  • Experience of screening and vetting to BS7858 standard is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise and manage mutiple workstreams
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experienced in working with Applicant Tracking /Scheduling Systems
  • Confident and outgoing with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • We are also interested in speaking with candidates with supervisory experience within a screening and vetting environment
