About The Role
The Regional Sales Manager role is responsible for leading a defined group of retailers/areas within a regional market, to deliver market leading retail sales and growth by engaging and leading the Field Sales Manager population/ Flagship Manager population. The role is responsible for clear and consistent messaging across the entire region, enabling the sharing of best practise and reporting, analysing and reacting to immediate trade risks and opportunities, Whilst managing the inflating and deflating of costs in line with trading patterns, and having overall accountability of the sales, profitability and productivity of their region. They will strive to have consistency across retailers in all Key Performance Indicators including: footfall and conversion, average transaction value, customer experience, data capture, social advocacy and eNPS scores both in the air and on the ground.
*Please note - This role can be based anywhere within the UK. You will be comfortable with occasional travel to the London HQ, typically the role will be work from home Monday & Friday with store visits in between.*
Role Accountabilities
Commercial Leadership:
Deliver retail sales in line with forecast commitments, achieving total retail sales across the region, Ensuring optimum and consistent KPI performance (as set out within the REOP strategy)
Work with the SNAM on store level forecasts ,and align on associated targets with the Retail Sales and Operations Manager
Ensure robust action is being taken week on week, and at mid-week to optimise sales performance with the Field Sales Managers
Deliver reporting for the region that can be dissected easily and is presentable to Senior Stakeholders
Optimise ways of working alongside the Senior Training Managers. between the FTM and FSM population to enable swift reaction to trade whether that be course correcting or sharing best practise
High Performance Team
Lead and manage the team of Field Sales Managers, ensuring each manager has clear objectives in line with the sprint process
Work with the Retail People Partner of the region to support you in the delivery of your retail people plan.
Lead initiatives and actively encourage action plans to address engagement needs identified from Peakon, building a culture of inclusion and motivation within your defined region, enabling consistency within the retail teams.
Work alongside the Senior Training Managers to ensure commercial and development training needs are met within the region
To analyse HR stats and labour turnover for the areas within your region and identify and action plan with the FSM any off track areas, including consistency of ER and performance management
To ensure that artist deployment and contract spread, and productivity are optimised within your region and are being addressed
To own team engagement in the region by holding listening groups at least bi-annually with appropriate action taken, or fed back to the relevant stakeholder
To make recommendations to the Retail Sales and Operations Manager on how to further drive engagement, optimise productivity and ensure operational excellence
Retail Sales Strategy
Taking the Retail sales and operations strategy define the strategy for the regional retailers, and work with the FSMs to ensure this is distilled into individual store strategy
Work in close collaboration with the Senior Training Managers to develop a launch and sustain plans for all stores and NPD, to ensure all Charlotte Tilbury Beauty stores reach #1 ranking across all partner department stores
Review the strategy regularly in the moment to ensure that it is being delivered and feeding back any barriers/ shortfalls where support is required
Where applicable, ensure there is differentiation of the department store concession, free standing stores, and Specialty model, contributing to the marketing and service initiatives in both environments, based on customer and store insight; work closely with the Pro Artistry team to support the creation of artistry centres of excellence in our flagship stores and a high level of artistry in all
Identify and capitalise on opportunities to drive brand awareness, performance, and market share across the region, with a particular focus on consistency across areas
Set standards across the estate for executional excellence, supporting the development and embedding of new processes and working cross-functionally to improve brand presentation and NPD moments in your areas
Work with the Retail Operations Team to ensure communication with the field is effective and timely and feedback fluidly where improvements can be made
Always driving the omnichannel sales number where there is no conflict of interest with retail partners, and Commercial social advocacy initiatives where applicable
Have good relationships with all Retailer Store Managers, and ensure the FSMs are optimising their department manager relationships, to optimise brand presence and realise incremental opportunities at store level
Effective Cost Optimisation
Distribute and control retail staffing costs via the FSMs, and provide recommendations to the Retail Sales and Operations Manager where staffing needs to be flexed up or down depending on trade patterns, and present the relevant business case outside of the forecast cycle. Ensure in store retail partners are aligned to cost share, and written evidence is obtained.
Review recruitment stats for your region and progress with the recruitment team weekly
Sign off and submit to finance your regions commission files, informing the Retail Sales and Operations Manager of any discrepancies
Ensure the FSMs are sticking to their T and E budgets, and take the appropriate action

Reporting to the Head of Retail sales
Direct reports of Field Sales Managers and Flagship store managers
About You
Able to travel within the region - UK
Strong field management or multi‑site experience with a track record of developing talent and driving growth
