Permanent role - 40 hours per week
The Recruitment & Vetting Administrator will be responsible for completing required vetting checks on candidates applying to work within Compact Security Services and associated businesses ensuring full compliance with screening and vetting processes in line with BS7858 standards. This on-site office based role is central to supporting staffing and scheduling requirements and will work to support recruitment, screening and team onboarding
- Working closely with the recruitment manager, to co-ordinate and deliver the end-to-end vetting process, ensuring all vetting files completed within the required timelines for preliminary limited and full checks
- Support operational managers during the process working closely with them to ensure staff onboarded within required timelines
- Work with recruitment manager to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure effective communication with candidates so they have transparency on timelines and process, responding to all queries within agreed timelines.
- Adhere to agreed processes ensuring all adhered to consistently to ensure full compliance
- Ensure staff compliance with all required mandatory training at onboarding and in probation
- Support with delivery of recruitment events/team inductions as required
- Ensure full compliance within all aspects of the recruitment /people function, including right-to-work checks and HR legislative compliance
- Ensure all relevant HR administration completed including using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), HR software, and scheduling tools to manage employee records and recruitment data
- Learn scheduling systems and process to ensure can respond to any related queries from staff
- Support and drive Investors in People across the business
- Support with identified projects within the wider resourcing team as required

Experience
- Experience of the security industry beneficial, in particular within a a recruitment /vetting role within the hospitality, events, security, or retail sectors, with a strong understanding of working with a large workforce and high volume recruitment
- Experience of screening and vetting to BS7858 standard is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experienced in working with Applicant Tracking /Scheduling Systems
- Confident and outgoing with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Some travel will be required at times to regional offices (monthly) in addition to site visits during peak seasons which may include some overnight stays.
Qualifications
CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) in HRM (desirable )
Mental Health First Aid (desirable)
Full Driving license (essential)
