An exciting opportunity to join our expanding Construction Division as a Project Coordinator has become available, based in Manchester City Centre.

The Role

You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, providing critical support to project managers and operatives to ensure the smooth coordination of construction build activities. You’ll be responsible for compiling job packs, raising purchase orders, booking traffic management, and tracking build progress across both in-house teams and external contractors.

In this role you will need to manage multiple deadlines, handle internal and external queries professionally, and escalate issues where appropriate. The role will require you to liaise with outside bodies to help resolve anything that could delay or disrupt the build process.

The right person for this role will be expected to work independently, using your initiative to keep things moving, but also thrive as part of a wider team. Being organised, adaptable, and able to juggle competing priorities will be key to your success in this role.

You'll also be responsible for;

• Maintaining databases, business reports, spread sheets and contract performance as required
• Coordination of admin tasks to support the Project Managers and wider construction team
• Obtaining & distributing documents in an efficient and timely manner
• Collating and processing external quotes and orders with contractors and suppliers and liaising with finance to ensure accuracy.
• Preparation & submission of planning applications with supporting documents
• Ensuring all relevant permits and traffic management plans are processed in an efficient and timely manner and in line with the departments build plan.
• Co-ordinating with other departments where needed
