• Develop and align the Information Management strategy with organisational goals, ensuring projects contribute to overall information and data objectives.
• Develop project specific CDE processes with knowledge of the intricacies of document management and BIM processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks at management information reporting level, working to prevent issues that may impact success.
• Lead and facilitate clear and effective communication of data and information between the PMO, project teams, and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Develop and monitor performance indicators (PIs) to assess performance, and make data-driven decisions.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure achieving established standards.
• To act as digital team leader, providing advice, creating guidance and supervision as appropriate to technical teams, operational managers, clients and suppliers
• Producing and leading the production and checking of deliverables that satisfy the overarching criteria of quality, cost and programme
• Responsibility for the commercial success of the projects within their portfolio, controlling budgets and managing the costs associated with the production of deliverables
• Liaising with client and supplier representatives at peer level and higher, including presenting proposals
• Significantly contributing to and leading the preparation of bids and the general work winning function, taking responsibility for the preparation of technical and commercial offers with accountability to the bid director
• Assuming the role of people manager when required by the business
Job Skills, Experience and Qualification Requirements
Essential
• Experience in the application of BIM processes and principles
• Working knowledge of ISO 9650 principles and its application
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of the design and specification process
• Highly experienced with relevant software and similar design/analytical tools.
Desirable
• Level 4 qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject is preferred but not essential for individuals who can demonstrate the appropriate level of experience
• Eng Tech status, gained through the professional institution to which the individual is aligned
Experience
• High level experience and expertise within BIM, gained in Information Manager role
• Excellent knowledge of client and international BIM standards, BIM documentation, CDEs and emerging technologies
• High level experience of working within a common data environment in accordance with BIM processes
• Experienced in contributing to innovation and digital strategy/transformation
