The ITS Solutions Analyst is a customer-facing product-focused role, acting as a trusted technical advisor across the full customer lifecycle while helping to shaping Real Time Information (RTI) products within the Vix Intelligent Transport System (ITS) portfolio.
This role bridges pre-sales, solution design and customer enablement. It helps to ensure customer needs are translated into scalable, commercially viable solutions and actionable product roadmaps. The position works closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Delivery, and Partners to design, articulate, and continuously improve industry-leading ITS and RTI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Market Engagement
- Support pre-sales activities including bids, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and technical input to sales engagements.
- Conduct opportunity assessments and detailed gap analyses against customer requirements and Vix solutions.
- Prepare RAG summaries and structured analysis to support bid decisions and solution positioning.
- Deliver solution demonstrations, technical walkthroughs, and proofs of concept to customers and partners.
- Participate in customer discovery sessions, industry forums, exhibitions, and conferences as a Vix solutions representative.
Solution Design & Delivery Support - Design end-to-end ITS solutions incorporating Vix products and third-party systems.
- Work with solution architects, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and architectural alignment.
- Lead solution roadmapping sessions with customers, aligning current capabilities with future needs.
- Define solution handovers to project and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
ProductΒ
- Translate customer needs, operational pain points, and market trends into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Feed identified product gaps, integration needs, and enhancement opportunities into the product planning and roadmap process.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to define current and future RTI capabilities.
- Support roadmap communication internally and externally, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and sales strategy.
Customer Success & Enablement
- Act as a technical point of contact during early adoption and solution rollout phases.
- Deliver customer training on deployed ITS and RTI systems.
- Support customer success initiatives, including partner-led and data-driven engagements.
Maintain strong, long-term customer relationships across multiple concurrent engagements.
Essential
- Experience in solution design, pre-sales engineering, systems analysis, or product ownership in a customer-facing technical role.
- Strong ability to translate complex customer requirements into structured technical and product solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and customer engagements concurrently.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix, cross-functional environment.
Desirable
- Knowledge or experience in ITS, RTI systems, public transport technology, or smart mobility.
- Experience working with complex, integrated hardware and software systems.
- Exposure to consultative selling or commercial solution shaping.
- Experience working with transit standards, payment systems.
