Purpose of the role:
In this 10-month placement as an Optimisation (CRO) Analyst Intern, you will support key projects across the business and will focus most of your time on improving our customer experience through experimentation. A key part of your role will be analysing and optimising user journeys across our digital products, with the goal of enhancing user experience and maximising conversions.
You will help produce data-driven insights for key stakeholders through a variety of methods, that could include analysing data from Google Analytics or Power BI, conducting on-site surveys, collaborating on user research projects, or designing and building experiments through our a/b testing tool, Optimizely. This is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to a wide range of digital skills and platforms, and the internship can be tailored to the individual depending on the degree program they are completing.
Key responsibilities/what you’ll do:
- Data Analysis: Analyse user experience data to identify trends and opportunities for optimisation. Support with a/b testing and other methods to validate hypotheses and measure performance.
- Optimisation Strategies: Contribute to the creation and execution of CRO strategies for improving conversion rates across our digital products, including web and mobile platforms.
- User Experience: Work with design and development teams where appropriate to enhance user experience by identifying and addressing pain points in user journeys.
- Reporting: Support with preparing reports for CRO experiments and campaigns, gathering insights and recommendations that can be presented to stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Product, UX design, UX research, and engineering, to align optimisation efforts with broader business goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Be willing to learn about industry trends and best practices and apply them to drive continuous improvement in the customer experience.
- Technical Basics: Be willing to learn technical basics about how websites work and how we use digital analytics tools like Google Analytics to analyse user behaviour and report on the work we do.
- Be Proactive: You will need to dive into using different platforms and software to complete your work and you will need to take a proactive approach to your own learning if you want to get the most out of this experience.

- To be over 18 years old as of 1st September 2026
- To be a 2nd year student in a full-time undergraduate degree with an industry placement year, in a subject relevant to this role
- To have achieved a minimum of 104 UCAS points at A-level (grades BCC) or an equivalent (e.g., BTEC DMM) qualification
- Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grades A* to C (new grades 9 to 4)
