We are seeking an experienced and motivated MSK Specialist Podiatrist to join our outstanding team at DCHS.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine musculoskeletal expertise with a proactive approach to high-risk foot care and prevention. You will play a key role in developing this part of our service, helping our patient population reduce the risk of limb-threatening diabetic foot problems through early intervention and evidence-based care.

What We’re Looking For

  • HCPC registered Podiatrist with significant MSK experience.
  • A passion for patient care and improving outcomes in diabetic foot health.
  • Strong skills in biomechanics, orthoses, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to lead, innovate, and work collaboratively

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver specialist MSK podiatry care for patients with acute and chronic foot pathologies across community clinics and local hospital settings.
  • Take a lead in developing MSK Hubs, working alongside colleagues to provide accessible, timely, and high-quality services.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues and apprentice podiatrists, sharing your expertise to build a strong, skilled workforce.
  • Support diabetic footcare initiatives aimed at preventing active foot disease and improving long-term outcomes.
  • Provide advanced biomechanical assessments, orthotic prescriptions, and tailored treatment plans.
  • Develop outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of MSK podiatry interventions
