THE ROLE
When it comes to all things brand awareness and e-commerce, we’re not afraid to be brave. Each of our teams is the voice of the brand, so we have the best Product, Marketing and Ecommerce teams in the business to give our incredible customers what they want when they want it. MAN Marketplace Manager is arguably one of the most exciting roles as it directly impacts our global strategy to accelerate our growth.
Reporting to the Trading Director, Marketplace Manager is a fundamental role at boohooMAN, working with all functions to maximise profitability and contribute to the overall business strategy and growth.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
· Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute boohooMAN’s Marketplace strategy, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and scalable growth initiatives.
· Responsible for identifying and building key internal and external relationships to support our new Marketplace growth initiatives, on boarding new partners at pace.
· Knowledge of the International markets & Customers’ needs to ensure we onboard the right brands for the market.
· Build and manage strong relationships with new and existing partners to foster long-term collaboration and commercial success.
· Partner with BI and Marketing to optimize campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies using data-driven insights.
· Support the Debenhams Marketplace team and boohooMAN SLT manage contracts with partners.
· Build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholder groups, product, ecommerce, marketing, studio, legal to ensure successful implementation of brands on to our Marketplace.
· Research and track industry trends to stay up to date on best practices in the field.
· Lead brainstorming sessions with internal teams to identify key partners that complement the MAN brand offer.
· Manage budgeting and reporting of partnerships.
· Plan and execute promotional activities to drive traffic and sales.
· Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market conditions to adjust pricing and promotional activities accordingly.
· Track and analyse sales data, partner performance, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
· Analyse sales data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to track success and identify areas for improvement.
· Research market trends and competitor activity to inform partner selection, promotional planning, and pricing strategy.
· Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to track partnership success and present actionable insights to leadership.
· Generate regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and marketplace trends, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
· Work with & support BI, Ecommerce and Marketing teams to push promo messaging, using analytics to optimize campaigns, promotions, and pricing.
· Engage with the Groups key seller portfolio to ensure we are constantly unlocking opportunity for them to scale and grow on our Marketplace.
· Act as a brand ambassador for the boohooMAN Marketplace, promoting the platform both internally and externally to drive awareness and credibility.
· Undertake business travel as required to deliver above actions including travel with buying design and technical team members.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
· Proven experience in an analytical / insight role with a product focus.
· Solid experience in data analysis and reporting.
· Problem solving aptitude, ability to work under pressure and with agility.
· Strong multi-channel trading experience within a fast-paced retailer.
· ‘Can-do’ entrepreneurial attitude
· Has strong commercial and analytical skills and thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments.
· Strong interpersonal skills with history of establishing key partnerships and influencing at senior stakeholder level.
· Experienced in developing competitive pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive on the marketplace.
