Full Stack Developer

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with strong Azure and React experience to join our delivery teams working on meaningful public sector programmes.

The Role

You will play a key role in designing and delivering secure, scalable, cloud-native applications for public sector clients. Working within multidisciplinary agile teams, you will contribute across the full development lifecycle — from architecture and design through to implementation, testing and deployment.

This role requires hands-on expertise across both frontend and backend technologies, with strong experience in Microsoft Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable full stack applications
• Build modern, responsive front-end interfaces using React (experience with SvelteKit is highly desirable)
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
• Architect and deploy solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Collaborate with designers, architects, DevOps engineers and client stakeholders
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Ensure solutions align with security, accessibility and public sector standards

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure AD, Storage, etc.)
• Commercial experience building applications with React
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work effectively in client-facing environments

Desirable

• Experience with SvelteKit
• Public sector or government project experience
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Bicep, Terraform)
• Experience working in teams requiring Security Clearance
