The Opportunity

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and results-driven business development specialist to join our team on a full time basis in an exciting and impactful sales role. As a Legal Project Manager in our fixed fee projects team, you will handle a high volume of inbound SME leads, speaking with business owners to understand their commercial legal needs, from business sales and purchases, franchising and leasing, and general commercial contracts to employment matters and trade marks.

Your primary goals are to:

  • Identify opportunities and convert leads into paying clients for fixed fee projects
  • Scope and quote legal projects with commercial focus
  • Close deals and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Assist with client onboarding to ensure smooth handovers

This is a high-energy, high-volume sales role perfect for someone who thrives on closing deals and smashing targets. Success in this role requires exceptional persuasive communication skills, the ability to think on your feet, and a relentless drive to hit and exceed targets. You'll need to explain legal concepts in business-friendly language while maintaining focus on closing the deal.

Previous experience in B2B sales, professional services, or legal services is highly valued. A legal background is helpful but not essential - we can teach you the legal knowledge, but we need someone with proven sales instincts and deal-closing abilities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Sales-Driven: Minimum 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience with a track record of closing deals and consistently meeting or exceeding targets. 
  • Communication Expert: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to build rapport quickly and influence decision-makers.
  • High-Volume Performer: You thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and can handle multiple prospects simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Deal Closer: You live for the moment when prospects say "yes" and have the persistence to follow up and convert challenging leads.
  • Results-Motivated: You want to control your own earning potential with access to uncapped commissions and are energised by competitive sales environments.
  • Commercial Mindset: Practical, pragmatic and laser-focused on what drives business outcomes.
  • Client-Focused: You genuinely enjoy working with businesses of all sizes and get satisfaction from solving their problems while closing deals.
  • Legal Knowledge (Bonus): Legal background or understanding of commercial law concepts is helpful but not required - the right sales attitude is more important.
