We are looking for a Manager to join Interpath’s MLRO team for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will work closely with the organisations’ MLRO and the team Assistant Manager and contribute to our commitment to maintaining high compliance standards and preventing financial crime.

This person will join the MLRO team at a crucial phase as Interpath’s business expands internationally.

Key Accountabilities:

1. AML Compliance Support:

  • Conduct high‑quality AML reviews across personal and corporate client portfolios, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Review all internal SARs submitted and work with the MLRO for the submission of the same to the NCA

 2. Ongoing Monitoring:

  • Review weekly ongoing‑monitoring outputs to identify potential AML, sanctions, fraud, or reputational risks.
  • Assess alerts and undertake appropriate follow‑up actions, including enhanced due diligence, escalation, or remediation activity.
  • Support the strengthening of the firm’s monitoring framework by identifying trends, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

 3. AML Queries:

  • Serve as a central point of contact for AML and broader financial‑crime queries from internal teams, providing timely, accurate, and risk‑aligned advice.
  • Support colleagues in the effective use of the firm’s AML/KYC platform, troubleshooting issues and promoting best practice in client due‑diligence processes.
  • Contribute to the development of internal guidance materials to enhance staff understanding of financial‑crime obligations

4. Projects:

  • Support firmwide financial‑crime initiatives, including periodic updates to client risk‑rating methodologies and the annual Financial Crime Risk Assessment.
  • Work closely with the MLRO to design and deliver an enhanced financial‑crime training programme covering AML, sanctions, fraud, bribery & corruption, and emerging threats.
  • Assist with thematic reviews, policy updates, and regulatory change projects to ensure the firm remains aligned with evolving legal and regulatory expectations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of UK AML regulations and compliance practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3 - 5 years of AML/Financial Crime experience preferred, ideally within professional services or a similar environment.
