Finance Business Partner

The finance team plays a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth. What you’ll be doing:

• Act as the Finance Business Partner for Stock, Operations, Merchandising, Logistics and New Product Development team
• Be responsible for the monthly management accounts process for Stock and stock related costs, Logistics costs including Warehouse, Postage and Duties.
• Take the lead on evolving a suite of reporting and analysis to the business. Taking initiative to identify gaps in information being provided and turning this into meaningful insights.
• Line management of two Assistant Management Accountants.
• Work alongside the Data & Insights team to improve the timeliness and quality of financial information provided to the business
• Ensure accurate and timely creation of the balance sheet including reconciliations and ensuring adequate controls are in place to safeguard the assets of the business.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Review accounting/business processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.

Skills, knowledge & expertise:

• Previous experience in ecommerce, management accounts or similar industry.
• Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA
• Demonstrable track record in a high-growth e-commerce business.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong commercial acumen.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and expert user of MS Excel.
• Proactive, structured, and disciplined approach to work.
• Ability to identify and support ad hoc project requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and relationship-building skills.
