As an Enterprise technical account manager at Qodea, you will be the primary technical voice in our pre-sales engagements. This is a crucial role where you will partner closely with our commercial team to drive sales and develop world-class solutions for our customers. You will act as a bridge between our clients' technical challenges and Qodea's innovative solutions, shaping the right cloud architecture across Infrastructure, Security, Data, and AI to ensure customer success and accelerate sales cycles.

We really value in-person collaboration, so we're looking for you to spend at least 60% of your time on-site. This means being at our company offices or at a client's site.

Your primary focus will be to increase the market penetration of Google Cloud products and services. You will work closely with your colleagues at Qodea and collaborate with Google to nurture existing customers and identify new opportunities within the existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnering: Work with the commercial team through the sales process, from initial discovery to final presentation, to help drive revenue.
  • Executive Engagement: Participate in technical discussions with senior client-side stakeholders, including CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and Enterprise Architects, with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Technical Translation: Help translate intricate technical requirements related to infrastructure, security, data, or AI into clear and simple business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solution Architecting: Assist in architecting and designing high-level Cloud solutions that integrate Qodea's platform, addressing customer needs and ensuring a clear path to successful migration and modernisation.
  • Sales Acceleration: Help identify and overcome technical objections, assist in proof-of-concept demonstrations, and provide technical validation to shorten the sales process.
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a point of contact between the pre-sales process and Qodea's internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), engaging them strategically to support complex deal cycles.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Relevant Experience: Experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or sales engineering support role within a software or cloud services environment.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with a major public cloud platform. Ideally, experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including infrastructure, application modernisation, and data services. A professional-level Google Cloud certification is a plus. Alternatively, experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be considered for candidates willing to learn and become proficient in Google Cloud.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to present technical concepts clearly and build good relationships with technical leaders.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of the sales process and the ability to connect technical solutions with business value.
  • Team Player: Eagerness to collaborate effectively with commercial colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to understand customer needs, identify challenges, and contribute to developing solutions.
