THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ecommerce Assistant to support our Ecommerce teams across our boohoo and PrettyLittleThing brands, in delivering seamless, engaging, and high-converting online experiences. This role is ideal for someone who is digitally savvy, data-aware, and passionate about optimizing the customer journey across web, mobile, and other digital touchpoints.

You will play a key role in website content updates, campaign launches, UX improvements, and performance reporting to ensure our ecommerce platform consistently meets brand standards and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

·       Website & Content Management

  • Upload, update, and maintain product listings, and ensure product is in the right locations across the site
  • Ensure accuracy of product categorization and uploading products for product copy via AI tools
  • Conduct routine quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure site functionality and content accuracy.
  • Support homepage updates and seasonal campaign launches (promotions and campaign listers pages)

·       User Experience (UX) Support

  • Monitor site navigation, search functionality for usability issues.
  • Identify and report bugs, broken links, and performance issues.
  • Assist with A/B testing initiatives and personalization efforts.
  • Campaign & Merchandising Support
  • Coordinate digital merchandising updates in line with marketing campaigns.
  • Support email, social, and paid media landing page alignment with onsite messaging.
  • Utilising product merchandising tools to enhance site performance for search and merchandising (algolia, Fabric)
  •  Performance Reporting & Analysis
  • Track and report on key ecommerce KPIs (conversion rate, bounce rate, average order value, etc.).
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly performance dashboards.
  • Analyze campaign results and provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor site traffic and customer behavior trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Design, Product, and IT teams to ensure cohesive digital execution.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to address recurring customer pain points.
  • Support third-party vendors and platform partners as needed.
