Community Care Assisants - Full Tme Hours (based in Swadlincote)

As a Community Care Assistant you role is to provide essential personal care and support, to multiple individuals with a variation of needs, and essentially to help them to maintain independence, dignity, within the comfort of their own homes. <\/span>

Your responsibilities will include:<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

• Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene <\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Assisting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household tasks<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Prompting or administering medication in line with individual care plans<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on -call team<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Travelling between service users within <\/span>Swadlincote<\/span><\/b> (fuel allowance provided)<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Working <\/span>full -time hours<\/span><\/b>, including some weekdays and weekends as part of a rota<\/span>

  Non -Qualified Carers:<\/span><\/b>
  <\/span><\/p>

  • Weekdays: <\/span>£12.65 per hour<\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Weekends: <\/span>£13.00 per hour<\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Qualified Carers (Level 2+):<\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p>

    • Weekdays: <\/span>£13.10 per hour<\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Weekends: <\/span>£14.00 per hour<\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      (Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked)<\/span><\/i>

        • Full UK driving licence<\/span>
          <\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Access to your own vehicle<\/span>
          <\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Availability for full -time hours, including rota -based weekends<\/span>
          <\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach<\/span>
          <\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • A positive attitude and willingness to learn<\/span>
          <\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Previous care experience is welcome but <\/span>not essential<\/span><\/b> – full training provided<\/span>
