It is an exciting time for the service as we grow and expand our offer to the young people and families of North Derbyshire.  We are lucky enough to have a number of CAMHS services based in the same building, and as a core CAMHS worker you will liaise closely with them all. We pride ourselves on our multi-disciplinary approach, and you will become a key member of our specialist team. You will be working in a supportive and friendly environment with professionals from a variety of clinical backgrounds. As a Community CAMHS Mental Health Worker you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex young people with moderate to severe mental health disorders. You will carry out routine assessments, help young people to develop a collaborative care plan, and offer first level therapeutic interventions. You will offer screening for neurodevelopmental issues and make appropriate internal referrals in order to best support the young people we work with. The service offers a wide range of structured interventions such as CBT, systemic family therapy, DBT, IPT, and Positive Behaviour Support, and there are regular opportunities to develop your own skills further by completing training both internally and externally.
