Good, we’re building something big in the UK - and we’re looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to be part of it.
Teltonika is a global leader in IoT, with over 25 years of innovation, operations in 27+ countries, and more than 2,500 employees worldwide.
Our UK base opened in 2024, as part of Teltonika’s largest international expansion, bringing even more high-quality, Lithuania-made devices to the local market.
This role is pivotal to enabling Teltonika to grow our presence in the UK and Ireland, with a specific focus on securing key enterprise partners.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct market research, identifying your target clients, understanding their needs, and unlock enterprise-level opportunities across the UK and Irish markets.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities through proactive outreach, including outbound calls, emails, social media engagement, networking, and attending industry events.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio, key features, and competitive advantages to strengthen commercial positioning.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients using a consultative sales approach that highlights Teltonika’s value proposition.
- Regularly represent Teltonika at meetings, exhibitions and networking events across the UK and Ireland to promote our products and brand.
- Prepare tailored commercial offers and oversee contracts to meet and exceed sales development goals.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting through our internal CRM system.
- Collaborate with technical support and R&D to ensure client needs are met with the best possible solutions and service.
What we expect of you:
- A performance-driven sales professional with a track record of proven success in B2B enterprise-level sales.
- Ideally, with experience in IoT hardware, devices such as trackers, sensors, gateways etc.
- Highly skilled in outbound prospecting and lead generation, as well as some strong connections within a relevant industry in the territories. Allowing you to quickly develop potential interest with the confidence that you have an exceptional product behind you.
- A consultative approach to doing business, understanding the clients’ needs and pain points, with an ability to show how our solutions will resolve both.
- A commercial ambition that matches our engineering ambition. Our factory will develop over 1.2 million devices per month. We are ready for clients.
- Strong, professional communication and presentation skills, with excellent English language skills (both written and spoken).
- Full UK Driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- A keen interest or educational background in IOT, IT and / or business would be beneficial.
- Ideally, you're someone who brings market and sector specialism - we'll be particularly keen to hear about success you've had in:
- Aerospace & Defence – IoT for commercial aerospace applications or non-lethal military operations including air, land and sea.
- Automotive – vehicle telematics, diagnostics, connected vehicles, EV infrastructure.
- Aviation – asset tracking, fleet management, airside operations, safety systems.
- Energy & Utilities – IoT for electricity, gas, power generation, renewables, transmission/distribution, waste and water.
- Engineering & Construction – IoT for infrastructure, machinery, tooling, vehicles, rentals, O & M.
- Government & Public Sector – IoT for smart cities, public safety, infrastructure monitoring, regulatory frameworks.
- Manufacturing & Industrial – industrial IoT, automation, smart factory hardware, SCADA integration.
- Shipping & Logistics – telematics, freight tracking, maritime connectivity, supply-chain visibility
